We strive to promote wellness through education, counseling and preventive services. Good health is best achieved through a healthy lifestyle of adequate rest, daily exercise, a balanced diet, and healthy choices.

If you need medical assistance outside of normal business hours:
- Amberwell Health (formerly Atchison Hospital) – 913-367-7300.
- Amberwell Health Walk-In Clinic – available Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM to Noon.
- In an emergency, call 911. (For emergencies on campus, dial 9 to reach an outside line and then dial 911.) NOTE: If you call 911 on campus, please try to contact Campus Security at 913-360-8888, or ext. 8888 from a campus phone, so they can help direct emergency responders.

- Maintenance allergy injections during provider clinics
- Tuberculosis skin testing
- Blood pressure checks
- Blood sugar checks
- Removal of stitches
- Peak-flow testing
- Tobacco cessation
- Student Health Services also offers crutches for loan, over-the-counter medications, first aid supplies and educational materials.
All services provided by the Student Health Center are free. Strict confidentiality is maintained.
